The Quest For The Emerald Necklace Walkthrough

To start the quest, go to Hotton and follow the beach until you reach a long stretch of sand. Walk straight down until you reach a little village. The hut I'm standing next to is Loyada. Let her tell you her story. She will ask you to find her necklace. say yes. She will tell you to go see Nolan the bookworm in Flipperton.

This is me standing next to Nolan's house. At first, he may tell you to come back later because he is reading. As for all quest where they tell you to come back, simply leave his hut and walk back in, then talk to him again. He will tell you that you need a map. Nolan will send you to the abandoned shack on the Hoof Isle beach.

take the wagon from any town on Horse Isle. The little abandoned shack is easy to find once you get to Hoof. Simply follow the paved road until you see a clear road pop up on the beach. Follow it. Walk into the shack. they is no one inside. Use your magnifying glass and you will find a piece of a map that tells you to look behind the Wington Inn. Wington is accessable from the Earton docks.

Dig right where I'm standing. You will find a piece of wood. The message I got was:
Carefully digging where the little 'x' marks the spot on your map, you find a piece of wood. On it are the words, 'check in front of the fountain in Flipperton.'
You found a clue!

Dig right in front of the fountain. The next message is:
Digging up the grass carefully, you uncover another piece of wood. 'Go to the Gazebo in Shellton.' You found a clue!

Use your magnifying glass. You will discover some markings. The message I got was:
Glancing up, you notice some strange markings on one of the beams. Why, it looks like an orchard. 'Hotton next,' is written beside it.
You found a clue!

I'm soo sorry about the awful quality. My camera was spazing, but you can see where I am. Dig right where I'm satnding. this is the orchard on the far left of the town. The message I got was:
Digging up the earth, you find yet another piece of wood, carved with the words 'In Chillton.' Beside the words are what looks like a fallen log.
You found a clue!

Take the wagon to Chillton. Go behind this house and dig. You've found the necklace!
Digging through the snow, and in the dirt beneath the log, you uncover a dirty necklace.
You found an Emerald Necklace!

Simply return to Loyada and recieve you 15k and 100 qp!

I did the quest on palomino. Then I helped someone do it.I did it without cheating!!!
Hay, I am BoldJumper on Palomino. look me up.

Also, for the mods/admin/joe/miranda's sake, I do not think that Horse Isle cheats should be put up on the Internet.Thanks.

Oh come on, this is what people do once they get really stuck! They come here and find out where to go specifically.

Horse Isle staff don't lose any money from people questing faster.

As for Nolan's cabin, you have to do Fin's anchor quest, then go to Nolan, and he says something about finishing that book and then talking to you. So say goodbye, then say hi again, and you'll be able to talk to him.

Just a quick tip: you dont need a camera to get pictures of your screen. Just do a screenshot with the [print] key. your whole screen will be copied, then paste it in a grafic program and save it as .jpg/.gif or whatever you need.

Gives best quality screenshots. ;-)
